De acuerdo a las tradiciones de mi país, me siento muy orgulloso de presentar este trabajo donde enseño el traje para un baile típico. El porro es un baile que se realiza principalmente en la costa de Colombia, cuyo sonido es alegre y fiestero.
Los hombres llevan el tradicional sombrero "vueltiao", una pañueleta de distintos colores (aunque suele ser la más común la de color rojo), camisa y pantalón blanco y cotizas. Las mujeres se llevan el espectáculo, ya que adornan su cabellos con flores de distintos colores. La pollera suele ser de distintos colores también, en este caso decidí llenarla de flores, además que este vestuario se caracteriza por tener la falda bastante amplia lo que genera un espectáculo visual donde el movimiento hace vibrar al espectador.
According to the traditions in my country, I'm feeling really proud of showing you this work where I show the costume for a typical dance. The "Porro" is a dance that is made mainly in the coast of Colombia, which sound is happy and playful. Men wear with the traditional "vueltiao" hat, a scarf with bright colors (theey normally use the color red), white shirt and pants and sandals named "cotizas" or "alpargatas". Women are the principal show. They adorn their hair with flowers with bright colors. The "Pollera" (dress) used to be with different colors too, so I decided to fill it with flowers. This costume has something really beautiful and is that it has the skirt really wide that generates a visual spectacle where the movement makes the viewer shake.
